MEC Jacob Mamabolo Joins Premier Lesufi in Feedback Session with Alexandra Property Owners

Yesterday, Gauteng MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Jacob Mamabolo, joined Premier Panyaza Lesufi for a feedback engagement with members of the Alexandra Property Owners Association. The meeting, held in the heart of Alexandra, formed part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts to address property ownership disputes, service delivery issues, and urban management challenges in the area.

The session provided a platform for direct dialogue between the provincial government and residents, focusing on land tenure regularisation, municipal services, and infrastructure upgrades. Premier Lesufi emphasised that the Gauteng Provincial Government remains committed to resolving long-standing housing and property concerns through transparent consultation and cooperative planning.

MEC Mamabolo, supported by Dr Darion J. Barclay, reaffirmed CoGTA’s commitment to building stronger relationships between communities and local government structures. He noted that engagements such as this are vital to ensuring equitable urban development and strengthening public trust.

The meeting forms part of Gauteng’s broader initiative under the #GrowingGautengTogether and #TacklingG13 programmes, which aim to improve governance, service delivery, and collaboration with residents across the province.
